Each month, I’ll be sending out discussion questions to accompany our book of the month. If you’re reading along, you can either comment directly in this post or on our private group chat via the Substack App. Click below to join.
Here are my initial discussion questions for The End of the World is Just the Beginning by Peter Zeihan:
Do you agree with the author’s overall thesis that the era of American-led globalization is coming to an end? Or will things go back to normal soon?
What are some interesting facts or perspectives that you’ve learned so far? Share your learnings with the group in the comments!
Do you agree with his assessment that the United States is well positioned to prosper in the coming years? Or are America’s best years behind it?
If you haven’t got a copy of the book yet, don’t worry - it’s not too late. Grab a copy at your local bookstore or on Amazon.
The live book club discussion is on Feb 2nd at the usual time - 3PM LAX // 5 PM CDMX // 6PM NYC. Upgrade to a paid subscription to join our live calls on Zoom.
Enjoy the book - and let me know what you think so far!
Best,
Marko
I just finished the book.... oh boy am I destabilized by all this information.... In fact, what I should say is that most of the stuff in the book doesn't come as a surprise but before my reading, I guess I just did not want to think about it... Everything we ear on the news confirm that we are not on a good path and will not be for many years to come. Let's hope Humanity can prevail while we are going through these rough times...
