Greetings from Valle de Bravo, Mexico. As the year winds down, I’m starting to wind down my work schedule and prepare for 2023.
After many years of pushing myself past my limits, I’ve finally learned to approach December with more grace for myself.
Instead of stressing about doing as much as I can before the year ends, I’ve started to focus on finishing existing projects and preparing myself mentally for the year to come.
I’ll be doing a lot of traveling in the coming months and I’m working to prepare content to release while I’m on the road in January.
Therefore I’m going to keep things simple this week and share one of my favorite YouTube videos I found during the pandemic - BOOKSTORES: How to Read More Books in the Golden Age of Content by Casey Neistat’s former editor, Max Joseph.
It’s rather long (37 minutes) but well worth it. And hopefully it will inspire you to read more books in 2023 - maybe even join our book club!
Enjoy, and pick up your copy of this month’s book The White Tiger if you haven’t already. I’ll send out info about the live Zoom discussion soon.
Best,
Marko
PS: Shoutout to Tatiana McCabe for recommending this video during quarantine!
Just watched the video. Those book stores! Stunning. And the calculation at the beginning is inspiring...reading more books in a year (and a lifetime) is actually very doable! Thanks for this!
