Today I’m excited to announce a brand new addition to my Substack publication: The Missive subscriber chat.
It’s basically like a private WhatsApp or Telegram group for us to chat directly.
It’s free and open to all subscribers, and I’ll use it to deepen our conversations and make this newsletter more responsive to my readers.
It’s also going to serve as a place to discuss our monthly book club picks in between our monthly live discussions on Zoom.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to Slide into my DM’s
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to discuss our book club picks, starting with the November read: The Man Who Could Move Clouds and say hi. If you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
Join the Live Book Club on Zoom
If the subscriber chat is not enough, then come join the live book club discussion at the end of the month. And this month you’re really going to want to join us, because (finger’s crossed!) we will have a big surprise included with the live call.
Any guesses? ; ) Comment below!
The live discussion will be held on Zoom on Thursday Dec 1st and is included with a paid membership. Upgrade to a paid membership to see the Zoom details below.
And if you are experiencing financial hardship but would like to become a premium subscriber, email me to inquire about a discounted rate.
I’ll be sending a monthly roundup email out on Thursday for all subscribers, including my favorite reads, travel tips, and discoveries of the past month.
Until then, I remain…
Your author,
Marko
