Hello everyone!
I recently got the clip of the story I performed last summer at The Moth’s open mic in Los Angeles. The theme was “Enemies” and I told a story of my 2009 attempt to ride an old Soviet motorbike from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi in an attempt to heal the wounds of war.
Enjoy, and please consider upgrading to a paid subscription to support my work.
Also, I’m expanding my storytelling and coaching offerings in the coming months:
May 20th - Cuentame Oaxaca - “Breaking Traditions” at the Hotel Sin Nombre.
May 17th & 31st - 2-part storytelling workshop in CDMX, limited space
June 2nd - Cuentame CDMX - “Forbidden” - Pride-inspired show at Haab.
Oct 1-7th - Immersive storytelling workshop in Mexico City (more info soon!)
Thanks for reading and supporting my work! Have a great week.
Best,
Marko
Marko! An adventurous tale well told, I thoroughly enjoyed you goodwill moto tour into the wilds of Vietnam. I’m glad you survived!
Congratulations Marko! I love the Moth. Looking forward to listening to your story.
