Another thing to consider are all of the baby boomers retiring in the next 1-10 years. They all want a cheaper place to live. Many will sell their homes and pay cash to buy a new home, this leaves the younger generations with little opportunity. We live in Southern CA and can't wait to leave but are stuck here due to work and retirement packages! Look up Peter Zeihan

Idaho-government isn't in debt, lots of water, lower cost of living, less crime than LA.
